This pinnacle release Cabernet Sauvignon is crafted from the very finest fruit selection and is entirely estate grown and bottled on the Taylor family estate in the Clare Valley, South Australia. Immediately approachable but will cellar well in ideal conditions for up to 20 years from vintage date.

Floral aromas with intense blackberry, currant and dark plum flavours lead to a rich, supple palate with a sustained finish.

The deep crimson colour of Coleraine '21, edged in royal purple, is the first clue to this wine's exceptional character. Pure Hawke's Bay cabernet aromatics leap from the glass - wild blackberry, blackcurrant, thyme, and cedar, all interwoven with that signature Coleraine perfume of fresh roses. The palate precisely balances richness with vibrant energy; modern and varietally expressive, with cassis, raspberry, mocha, spice, and a distinctive minerality that is uniquely 2021. The fruit ripeness is so succulent, it cloaks those profound, chiselled tannins that carry the palate on endlessly. With perfume, power, finesse, and length this is an absolute original. The Gimblett; is traditionally made from a blend of grape varieties. The Cabernet family gives structure and fresh aromatics. Merlot gives richness and mid-palate weight with Malbec helping with complexity, density and colour.

The palate is luscious with a along velvety finish. The palate progresses from berries/cassis through cigar box and to chocolate, with a hgh 'drink me' factor.
