Created by the dirtbags at the local moutainbike club this beer is ideal post a two wheeled adventure. These singletrack minded individuals decided what they wanted brewed which was a beer big enough for some serious flavour, small enough to have a couple, crisp enough for some thirst control and hoppy enough for even the smallest nose. Delivering on the above is a clean and mildly malty red ale hopped up with classic US varieties for orange, pine and dried fig aromas and a solid bitterness.

When a certain tiny-handed tangerine tyrant floated the idea of annexing Canada as the 51st state Behemoth sent Churly undercover - decked out in Mountie red, waving the Stars and Stripes, and rocking a cowboy hat. The result? A Canadian Red IPA that's enough red to make both flags proud, equal parts bold, bitter, and slightly confused about which side of the border it's on. Big on malty richness with a strong, hoppy backbone (just like a true Canuck), 51st State is a salute to what happens when diplomacy meets delusion-and beer wins. Introducing Hop Buddies #43: Don & Vlad, a Hazy IPA so good, it could broker the worst kind of peace talks. These two go together like sanctions and loopholes, swapping hops while the world burns brighter than their spray tans and propaganda machines combined. Behemoth have double downed on the haze with Citra and El Dorado hops, because seeing things clearly was never their strong suit anyway. So crack this can, toast to unlikely friendships, and while Don & Vlad are busy playing Risk with the planet, at least your biggest threat (right now...) is an empty glass.

Hot Dogs and Hazy IPA's, what's not to love? This beer was originally brewed especially for Behemoth's 1st Annual Hot Dog eating contest at Rogue and Vagabond for the Road to Beervana in Wellington. This beer uses Citra Hops and Citra Cryo Hops to create a tropical, citrus, refreshing IPA. It does go down well after a hot dog. It also goes down well after 12 hot dogs. Or, well dammit, it goes down well if you have had no hot dogs. Feel free to have as many or as little hot dogs as you please. Please note, this beer contains no hot dogs as that would just be gross.

Back from the grave and holier than thou, No New Pope is Behemoth's big, bold, Black Smoked Imperial Stout. This stout is rich, roasty, and cloaked in divine smoke, like incense in a cathedral... if that incense was set on fire by a pyromaniac monk with a taste for strong beer. Churly channelling some papal mischief behind the big chair. No heresy here, just heavenly dark malts, smoky whispers, and enough body to make you question your faith (in weaker stouts).

Inspired by a certain orange fella who thought the best way to negotiate was by chucking toys out of the pram, right there on the Resolute Desk. This Double Hazy IPA is juiced up with so much tropical fruitiness and hoppy bravado, it could almost distract from an international trade war. Soft, juicy, and with just the right amount of bitterness, unlike some leaders we know. So crack a can, take a sip, and remember: when things don't go your way... just yell at the economy! Drink fresh, don't negotiate via tweet. Because if you're gonna have a meltdown, it might as well be ice cold, in a glass.
